Held from the 20th to 22nd July 2018 at the BMICH, the Hotel Show Colombo 2018 was open to the public from 10 am to 7 pm. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, this event was organized by the Ceylon Hotel School Graduates Association (CHSGA) together with event partner CDC Events and was opened by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The Hotel Show Colombo, South Asia’s largest trade show for hotels, restaurants, cafes and catering services, took place in order to meet the demand of both the buyers who are the entrepreneurs in the industry and sellers who manufacture and supply an array of raw materials, as well as providers of design, marketing service, and management. It also provided hotels the opportunity to showcase the talents of their staff at various competitions under the purview of international judges.
JAT Agri showcased its products in the Water Purification section that falls under Engineering and Maintained at the Hotel Show. The main two products on display were,
- Crystalline – Pool Care Solution; which is a chlorine free pool disinfectant that makes swimming a whole new experience. It is also is certified under NSF Standard 60 and is of Canadian technology. Its specialty being that Crystalline is an ionic copper which is mineral in nano form.
- Ionic Nano Copper (INC) – Wastewater Solution; a simple and reliable wastewater solution that is a copper based algaecide that eradicates algae, bacteria and controls odor. Once introduced to the water body, INC spreads fast and works in a variety of water conditions, remaining active until it comes into contact with algae and bacteria.
The JAT Agri stall at the Hotel Show mainly attracted masses from Hotels – chiefs / engineers / owners / project managers, International Buyers from the Maldives & India, Water Solution Companies, residential pool owners and universities. All visitors were given their own INC sample.
